Common Questions
What counts as an API call?
Each POST request to a metered endpoint — /api/v1/calculate or /api/calculators/token-cost — counts as one call. GET requests (listing models, docs) are free.
Do I need a credit card for the free tier?
No. Free tier requires no signup at all — just start making requests.
When does the daily limit reset?
At midnight UTC every day.
Can I upgrade or cancel anytime?
Yes. Pro is month-to-month. Cancel anytime with no fees.
Is there an annual discount?
Not yet — Pro is billed monthly. Need invoicing or an annual plan? Email us.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards via our payment processor, currently Stripe, which is also the merchant of record. Enterprise customers can use invoicing.
